The First 90 Days: Leadership Transition Coaching
A smart way to help your top-talent employees embrace change with confidence and ensure their successful integration
Who is it for?
This programme is for senior employees who have just been promoted to a new role.
Starting a new role is exciting. It presents a great opportunity to take on new challenges that will help you grow.
At the same time, it can be daunting and make you feel vulnerable. You need to learn a lot fast, build new relationships, and establish yourself as a professional in a new environment.
This programme is designed to help your senior employees confidently navigate through the challenges of moving into a new working environment and to be strategic in developing their leadership from day one.
This programme will help them embrace and manage change efficiently and:
- Create a great first impression and effectively develop their authentic leadership style
- Set realistic goals and develop a clear plan to achieve them
- Learn how to use their unique strengths, skills, and experience to succeed in their new leadership role
- Increase their confidence, resilience, and ability to communicate with more presence and impact
- Adopt new habits to embrace change and take positive action
I started working with Tami when I switched jobs and jumped from a role where I was largely able to mind my own business to one where, suddenly, I was pretty much in charge, doing lots of things I’d never done before, including making big decisions and dealing with numerous stakeholders.
The coaching sessions helped me increase self awareness and express things that were an issue for me but seemed too trivial to raise with anyone else.
I found Tami to be very patient and quick to draw out the real issues hiding behind the things I was saying. This programme was an unexpected but much needed bonus.
How does it work?
This programme includes an introductory session and three 1:1 coaching sessions via audio or video call.

Session #1: Two to three weeks before they start their new role
During this session, we’ll discuss the topics that feel most relevant to your employee at the moment. For example:
- Examine their role in detail
- Identify their key strengths, skills, and unique experiences to create a great first impression for the organisation and demonstrate their value
- Understand the culture and values of the organisation and identify the common points
- Identify the key stakeholders: the most important people who they want to establish a strong connection with and clarify expectations
- Identify their priorities and set realistic goals for the first 90 days in their role and develop a strategy to achieve these goals without feeling overwhelmed
Session #2: Two to three weeks after they’ve started their new role
The topics we’ll focus on during this session will depend on the situation and needs of your employee at the particular moment. Here are some examples:
- Get into a habit to celebrate early wins and keep their motivation up
- Identify what skills and knowledge they need to acquire in this new role
- Reassess their priorities and make adjustments to their plan
- Tackle imposter syndrome and build up their confidence
- Build rapport with the key players in their organisation
- Continue to develop their own brand
Session #3: Anytime within their first 90 days
As with previous sessions, the topics we’ll discuss during this session will depend on what feels most important to your employee at the moment. Here are some examples:
- Reflect on their progress to revisit their priorities and make adjustments
- Develop their support network, both internally and externally
- Develop new habits and identify key actions and strategies to keep building their confidence and resilience
During these meetings, your employee will have the undivided attention of a certified executive coach who will work with them at their own pace in a confidential, judgement-free environment.
What results can you expect?
By the end of the programme, you can expect your employee to:
- Gain clarity about what success means to them in this role and beyond
- Identify their unique strengths, skills, and experiences, and learn how to leverage them to achieve their role’s goals
- Gain greater confidence and resilience, and develop their personal brand
- Learn to communicate with more impact
- Receive a clear roadmap with practical steps to achieve tangible results in their new role (and a sense of empowerment that comes from having a clear plan)
Tami helped me organise my thoughts strategically and got me excited about overcoming these obstacles
When I first met Tami I had already had some career coaching. While I felt prepared for my role as a result of this previous coaching, I quickly noticed upon speaking to Tami that subconsciously, I still had so many questions on important issues such as setting boundaries, prioritising my family without sacrificing my career goals, and making an impact in a male dominated industry.
What impressed me the most is that I quickly recognised issues that were daunting me, but when speaking to Tami from the offset, I didn’t feel overwhelmed. She helped me organise my thoughts strategically and answer my own questions and importantly, got me excited about overcoming these obstacles.
Thanks to Tami, I feel less intimidated of my future and have a better understanding of what I would like to happen over the next 5 years.
Tami is a kind and patient person who makes speaking to her feel effortless. She has a wonderful spirit and outlook on life, and has been incredibly helpful, both professionally and personally.

Your employees will be in good hands
The sessions were really helpful to get me to start thinking about what to expect from private practice to in-house. It was great to have a sounding board whilst also being challenged by Tami to any areas of concern that I may have had and approach them from angles I may not have thought of.
When I started working together with Tami, I was feeling very frustrated about my previous job, dealing with difficult stakeholders and struggling to navigate its politics environment. I was also feeling nervous about starting a new job. I feel more confident at doing my job.
